How do you feel about the Andre Waters' death investigation?

While checking out Yahoo sports this evening, I noticed a story about his death. An investigation is underway...doctors have discovered that his brain resembled an 85-year-old man's with Alzheimers! The family is pursuing this in hopes that someone else can be helped. It is believed that all of the concussions he suffered during his 12-year career may be behind it (there were two other players whose deaths are also being looked into). Any thoughts?

There is no sight more wrenchingly painful than to see an athlete who is simply so battered and torn up at an age when their lives should just be really beginning, that they are dying right in front of you. I have seen former football players, hockey players and even baseball players who are 20 and 30 years younger than me, who can't even get around without assistance. The tragic injuries and deaths of football players are especially shocking since so many of their injuries occur right in from of the fans, and perhaps aren't apparent until later after the game. I hoped that Andre Water's passing will not vain. There are so many young athlete's that must be educated about happenstances like this, so that they can all make proper choices about their careers, and also be better protected and trained.
