How do you pray? (A question for all religion with respect)

Im ignorant and I had never study other religion. I respect all religion, and I wanted to know how they pray. Im a roman catholic. I start by signing of the cross. I praise and thank God for every blessing that I get for my family, for my friends, I ask him to guide, protect, and bless everyone one by one. I surrender and lift up everything to him. and pray Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be and sign of the cross. Sometimes I talk with him like a friend. I tell him stories and ask questions. He is God and he is my everything.
