Does anyone have any advice on potty training a puppy?  

I got a little bolognese puppy last october, she is about 7 months old now, I didn't crate her because i am home 24/7 but i was thinking of getting one and prob should of got one anyway. But for her bathroom all i did was put down a bunch of newspaper in a quiet corner where no one disturbs it, and i showed her and told her to "go" and when she did I praised her and sing and danced and praised her for going, -the breeders i bought her from said they had begun training her on paper so it's what i did and it's worked great, she has had more than a few accidents but i don't yell at her too much , just clean it up and just show her the spot where she went and scold her a little and say a firm "NO" and then put her on the paper and tell her thats where you go. It took about 3 months to now have zero accidents! And of course she goes outside too when we go out for walks. So just be consistant with her and she will learn where she can go and should go. And they go alot- they can't hold much, My little Olive is her name just had her spaying done too, and she is really doing wonderful. I reccomend getting lots of differnt chewys, and rubber chewy toys for her and give lots of attention to make her feel secure. If i can do it,you can do it. and there is all sorts of info on the web too, just search puppy training.

Thanks so much for the advice. Your little one is adorable! We just had Tayah groomed again tonight and they put valentine bows in her hair. If I can get a picture I will post it in my photo section.
