kidney diseases are potentially preventable if diagnosed early, thereby avoiding the neeed for expensive treatment such as dialysis and transplant. Be consious of the early warning signs. I always take care my kidney. How about you do you take care of your kidney?

I think drinking plenty of water and reducing the sugar intake keeps kidneys in a working and good condition. I drink plenty of water everyday. I make it a point to consume 3 litres of water daily. 1 litre of water at a stretch, i drink as soon as i wake up in the morning under water therapy.

Drink lots of water! Be careful about how much over the counter medication like aleve, advil or motrin you take for headaches or other pain (these can be toxic to the kidneys). Have a physical exam every year with bloodwork to check your liver and kidney function, blood sugar, and a urinalysis. Have your blood pressure checked a few times a year, and if it is high be sure to take your medicine every day. If you are a diabetic, do whatever your doctor instructs you to do to keep it under control. Poorly controlled diabetes and high blood pressure are the 2 most frequent causes of preventable kidney failure leading to dialysis.
