AMERICA: What people don't understand...  

its true, no reason to hate america. It made me feel uncomfortable when I read her topic. But thanks for making this, makes me feel much better. I was playing Battlefield 2, when some people in east asia joined my (AHEM, Mini EscApe
Server) They said, You are American! (obviously they looked at my server stats, and saw MY LOCATION, United States Of America. They said, Your WHITE WOMEN WILL SUCK AND DIE.
I THOUGHT THAT REALLY RUDE. So I shot them all with an m4, and they sent tanks, and I plopped c4 and artillery to wipe them out, I drove a jeep to weed out the rest.

I used to live in the States long time ago. I love the States. I love the Big Apple, San Antonio (Texas), Hollywood (LA) and all the things going on there.
There are lots of things to see there in America. Not to mention, so far we have to admit American do make good movies!
Even if it's a British movie, when the Americans play in it, they plays far better than the Britons. This is my honest opinion.:)

I think a lot of countries have a lot of hate for America for no reason but then a lot of it is justified as well. We are misrepresented as a whole a lot of times. Everyone in America isnt like that visions people see of us so it causes people to think negative about us.

yep you are exactly right!! i saw that same exact topic earlier and was kind of offended by it. but thats ok, not every country can have things the others have. One day we might have alot of historical buildings and such too. All of their countries and historical buildings and such were new at one time too.

Poe, i m new to US ... i came few months back from india and i like the people out here... since i m here mostly for work.. and i have gone places here.. i really like it... though its not like india... n to point to ... significantly there is no hsitory to US.....
i think it wud hv been gr8 to see some old stuff.. everything looks reinnovated or brand new

Thank you. The USA is a young country, we have only been around since the 1600's. Our history and our development will be much more diverse from other countries, but that is okay. We are not trying to be like anyone else, we are only trying to be ourselves. We are a very unique and diverse set of people and we should be. We are a country found on diversity and immigration, the fore-fathers knew that when they wrote the Declaration of Independence. Think of it this way, we are a people who are different and that is the way it will be and that is the way it will stay. We will not change or conform for anyone.

That other topic really ticked me off. You don't see people posting topics such as what I hate about Mexicans or what I hate about Indians. Why does everyone pass such harsh judgement on us? Are they jealous? I really don't get it.

I;m an american but I agree with other poster. Jusy because are a young nation does not mean that we have to be so MONEY HUNGRY.

My point is when we have great wide open land why do we need a store on every corner.

Actually, the poster said she hated that an American would object to a BK being outside the Empire State Building.

Obviously that statement is made in ignorance, because I don't think the average American would make that objection or that BK wouldn't have enough customers to stay open. But if you're going to present something as an example, you should get it right or you lose credibility.
