Bearing in mind that will power was about all Britain had in 1940, an apt statement in context. Will power is a double edged thing. Hitler emphasized will power, too, in 1945. Will power, used to achive a result, is a potent force. Used to achieve nothing but a pep talk, it's useless. In Churchill's context it was used as an incentive for the effort to achieve victory. In Hitler's it was used as a basis for conducting a war out of context.
