I think its great for the kids. It is a non violent toy. The recordings are suppose to be really cute. They should do really well on the market.

no, he recorded his voice and knew about the toys. They were already for sale in the austraila zoo. His wife gave her blessings.

The dvds were going to animal wildlife preservation and I am not sure about the funds from the toys. Have any of you heard anything?

I also heard this news. I think that Steve Irwin was an amazing man. I was not a huge fan of his programs, meaning that I did not watch them all of the time, but I have caught a few of his television appearances and he did some truly amazing things and braved some really dangerous animals. He truly thought that all wildlife was beautiful. I loved his attitude towards animals. I do think that the toys are a fun little tribute. ^_^

I love what this man stood for. He truly loved wildlife of all forms. I think we all could learn a lesson from him about living in harmony with what is around us rather than overtaking and killing off natural habitat. If selling these products will in any way keep his lessons alive than so be it! I do hope that the proceeds will be going to programs to continue work for wildlife preservation and such. I imagine too that it will be of some comfort for his wife and family to see his passion being kept alive.

I think its wonderful that the family supports the entire wildlife conservation. I am so glad they are going to continue educating and working for the causes. I think his daughters show will be really succesful and its wonderful that she can continue her fathers work.

Yes I do . What a better way then for kids to have an action figure of him. I think he would have loved that as well. He was a great man as well as father .

That is above the realm of wonderful. I am sure the money from the toys will go into helping further educate the people about wild animals and their right to be here. That was what Steve Irwin was all about and that is why I say that is where the money from toys like that would go. I hope they sell them here. I would definitely support the wildlife warriors and anything else I can do. Steve Irwin made a big impression on my thinking about where animals should fit into this big wide world of ours.
