Are men and women really equal?  

The woman can't do everything the man does.The man has testosterone so it has a lot more strengh than a woman and can do all the things that require strenght.And i think the man is slitly more inteligent (in any case in Romania is true).I would not let my girlfriend to cut wood for a fire just to make me know that she has strenght too,she could get hurt :).But when it comes of something intelectual i think she can do something as good as me,but not on IT because this is my job :D

"Equal", but not "the same", as there are major gender differences. Feminists have tried unsuccessfully to deny this for decades. Men and women have different sets of strengths and weaknesses. They need each other, and together they can achieve a succesful, happy life.

We are equal in the eyes of God.

Equality does not mean physical. When we speak of equality in men and women we speak of their rights, and equal being human.

Women are created to be the helpmate of men, and was created from the bones of men. So there is suppose to be a subordination of women to men, however, there are also suppose to be norms that men should follow and under a strict code of conduct should men behave to get eligible for women's submission to them, search the bible for you to gain understand of what I am trying to impart to you.

As women of today, assert your right and do not allow men o trample you, or much wort abuse you. Do not allow yourself to get fooled in submitting to their wimps. Get equal with men because both of you are human beings and deserve each others respect. Get financial independence because men tends to abuse women who does not know how to take care of them self, they also tend to abuse women who loves them so much, you know. Take care of yourself

yes we do always talk about equality between men and women but of course us woman will never really be equal to man, woman do try these days to do more than they did yesturday but they can't do everything that a man can do that is just impossible. I do believe in many ways that we are fooling ourselves.

As far as I'm concern the equality between man and woman have limitations. Like intelligence, man & women can both equal in this category. Skills and talents too. As to masculine power, I would rather say that man are stronger than woman. I would like to conclude it this way, considering the intangible aspects, both genders could be equal. But as to tangible aspects, there maybe several aspects that men excels more than women. I hope you get my idea.

look,physically of course men are no match for women...and i sincerely mean this !! imagine if men had to give birth...there would not be any children around !! but in other cases as you mentioned, one simply cannot have sports between the genders coz men have sturdier bodies than women (generally)...but in any intellectual or artistic field, men and women are equal !

I don't think that men and women are equal because of the body types, for instance a woman cant work on a construction site like a man can, or just plain sexism some times. People often think that a woman isn't capable to do thing better than a man can, personally i think thats just b.s. if a woman think that she can do the job, the least she can do is try it and if she can't, well she just learned a lesson and can try something else.

men and women are equals but not in the way you and the rest of women right acitvist think of.first of all to make it clear with you that in sports , it is out of respect to women that we have a separate team for genders, it is not descrination,and the mere fact that women now are accepted by society to participate in some games that were taboo few years back.we, men and women, should understand that there are things women should not do and vice versa. it's about our cultural background and historical set up,and at times our it is being dictated physiologically.do not get me wrong, there are a lot of women nowadays who are far mor powerful than men when it comes to positional supremacy in society. be it be in sports, schools, government and a lot more. so , please, do not descriminate youself.just do your thing and don't mind us, men.go girl power!

Well, if men and women really were considered equal, women would be allowed to fight in the front line. They can't right now, and I know some women that could do it.

If men and women were equal, there wouldn't be such a difference in salaries and raises and promotions and such, like there are.

If men and women were really equal, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

In old environment it was not equal because there was a trend in Asian countries that man and woman does not have equal opportunities in the environment but it was there in western countries. Now this equality of men and women is also there in Asian countries because of education and lot of girls are taking advance education and after that they try to compete with the environment and in future when females brought up their children they teach them what they have learned, and the environment get boomed because of this situation.
