How Many times have your kids asked you "Are we there yet"?

The millions of trips you and your family have taken. How many times have your kids asked you" Are we there yet"? Most parents say once or twice but why do they ask? Do they have to use the bathroom,hungry,sleepy? Why dont you ask your kids one day sit them down just say"Why do you ask me are we there yet?

yes, it is really annoying if this question gets popped up every now and then during the length of travel. i agree with you on this perfectly. when children gets excited to reach the place of destination, they ask this question as though they are hoping that popping this up will shorten the travel time.

my kids would ask me this for countless number of times. i have to hush them and tell them that they will know about it when we will already be there. parents will also tire of answering questions being asked over and over when we are managing the same boredom during travel plus the dust and the heat.
