January 22, 2007 will be the 33rd year that abortion has been happening in full force in America. Abortion is a lie and a scar. It harms innocent children and leaves women wounded. Not just emotionally, but physically as well. Did you know that women who have abortions increase their chance of breast cancer? There is also a higher chance of miscarriage. People that encourage the myth that abortion will not impact your life are adding to the injury. Most have never had an abortion, and they are fighting for something that they are emotionally detached from. Elisabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B Anthony and other leaders of the movement to restore the rights of women to be treated as citizens instead of property, refused to believe that a woman should have to choose between children and a career. They believed that pregnancy and children were a blessing and not a curse. We need to restore this thought process and bring life back to America. The respect for all life, regardless of age, skin color, ethnicity, ability or disability. These are foundations of truth that are basic human traits that should not be destroyed. This is not about religion, it is about TRUTH.
