After our truck was stolen, with some ID in it, we had to make all the usual contacts with credit card companies, the bank and the credtit bureau's. Is there any false information on file? Identity theft has become a big issue. We were told that since we reported the theft of our ID it will be on our record for 6 years. This is a GOOD thing, but if we ever need to apply for a loan, we should be prepared to be grilled as to our identity. It was also recommended to us to review our credit report at least once a year to see if there are any discrepancies. Do you do this at all....Will you consider it

No I have never reviwed it but I have never had to review it. I know my Passport was stolen 6 years ago but it was reported straight away so no one was able to use it.
