I was at Asda shopping a few months ago and there was a white works van with laders on it parked in a disabled space . I got angry at this and was saying to my hubby how thoughtless it was of the driver to do this . The next thing I knew a gentleman who had been looking for an empty space parked right across the back of the van and just sat there inhis car . I went over to him and said i thought it was rediculous the van was parked there , I laughed when the old man said " he will have to ask me to move to get out of that space" he thought it might make him think twice about doing it again . I only wish I could brin g myself to do something like that . good for him I say . we need more people like him to stick up for disabled rights xx

Thanks Gabs I got really angry in Asda carpark in Perth ( Scotland) one day and I went in and complained to the staff , the assistant put a great big notice on their windscreen pointing out it was a disabled space . I often wondered if it bothered them at all or were did they just not care. xx

I am disabled drive with the hand commands. I often find the car parks busy. have heard even to say if you are disabled are home on tv, I was denouncing him. The life is hard in wheelchair there he idiots. also put hurrah and go where I wanth if I can, tuesday are going to see Europe in concert. I'm a president of a association of multiple sclerosis, and from that which I see the problem are the patients who do not go out ... ... are feel ashamed at home, and councils do not arrange, in my small country am the alone one which drives ...

The problem is most people have no idea what it's like to be disabled. I'm disabled and I've gone through the same exact experience. It angered me because this guy was getting out of this really nice and expensive car and he was parked in spot for the disabled. The friend I was yelled at him but he just kept walking. My buddy got out of the car and chased after him and insisted the man move. I could tell the man was pissed but I couldn't have cared less. Anyways I'll quit rambling. I'm fortunate my friends do stand up for the disableds rights. Don't be afraid just say no way when you see a able bodied person parking in a spot for the disabled.
