Why is love blind? Why cant people accept the truth with open eyes?

Love is blind when you get stuck on one person and you can't see past them...you can't see ANYTHING except them...I don't allow myself to feel that way, so love has never been "blind" for me

I ran easily through the night
despite the path
I was one with the shadows
slipping through moonlight
and conscience thought
to your face.
its almost as clear
to my eyes, as the light of the sun.

I think many people tend to be co-dependant nowadays (and probably always). They let their relationships define them and think of themselves as only part of a whole. I think this is the reason for the saying that love is blind. Because people can overlook all of the bad characteristics of a person because the good traits, and the good times, feel SO good to them.

Anyways I don't believe LOVE is blind... I believe that the people in love more often than not are.

I believe that love is blind... mostly. Some of the time it clouds a persons vision and they can't see a persons bad traits because of it, which sometimes ends up hurting a lot of people.

Of course Love is blind. When you first meet someone & you are falling in love with that person, ALL of their 'little' irritating habit's aren't so 'irritating' at that point, as you want this to workout maybe for marraige; therefore "Love is Blind". AFTER you get married,that is when you "TRY' to change the person,{& u can't} because all of those 'cute' irritating things are really getting to you now. So YES Love is Blind.

love is not blind love makes u blind......when ur in love ur not using ur brain.....and once ur hurt then u sy to ur heart wellcome to the real world my heart!:)

LOve sure is not blind.... It makes you blind... dats all it can do.. I mean wot happens? You tend to overlook traits which r a bit off teh line in the other person.... and u know like blindly trust dat person or may be even do anything dat is demanded by dat person, righth or wrong doesn't really matter!!
So its really u who goes blind, because you r in love... and not thus love cannot be termed as being blind!!

Love is not blind. It's just that when you are in love, you tend to SEE with eyes that are more understanding; you learn to LISTEN with ears that are more caring; and you tend to JUDGE with a heart that is more loving.

love is not blind bt yes sometimes it do need glasses to see the other half heart.......:)
