This series is the same world as the original Fushigi Yugi series, but with the very first priestess, the priestess of Genbu. You do not have to have read the first series to understand what is going on in here. I really love this series and anyone who picks it up and is into this kind of story will love it too. So who here has read these books? What do you think of them?

haven't read the manga but i have seen the ova series of fushigi yuugi. i love this anime and i love tamahome. this series is very original. i have watched an anime with the similar plot. it is entitled "the twelve kingdoms". i can't figure it out if who's really the original but i bet it is fushigi yuugi for it is the first one i watched. this anime is highly recommendable so to all the people who want fun and excitement in their tv watching experience, better watch fushigi yuugi.

i am not fond of reading mangas for it can only crack my pocket into two ha ha! if i get hooked to it, i will buy and buy and buy and then money no more! ha ha!
