carpal tunnel disease common to us typist....

carpal tunnel syndrome is a disease of the wrist and hand, which is caused by abnormal pressure on the median nerve. Symptoms usually begin gradually and may consist of burning, tingling, pain and/or, numbness in the thumb, index and middle fingers and in the palm of the hand. Do you feel this symptoms?

You may put your wrist in a splint or brace to keep your wrist from bending and to minimize or prevent pressure on the nerve. Other preventions that we can do is to stretch or flex our arms and fingers before beginning work and at frequent intervals. It will help!

As of now!well still not!yeah I heard about that syndrome and I also seen the picture in internet.The choice of treatment for carpal tunnel syndromes depends on the severity of the symptoms and any underlying disease which might be causing the symptoms. Initial treatment usually includes rest, immobilization of the wrist in a splint, and ocasionally ice application.
