We are all sitting on th einternet with information whizzing by at pixelated light speed.
For those of you who are stuck for a discussion topic, why not look at some of the news items online? Why not look around at some of the news sources from countries other than your own, and try creating topics based on them?
If you are an aspiring writer it would be good practice. If you are just doing this because its beer money, then think about how boring it is for you to just post one liners and jokes!
I see ALOT of potential in your posts about your personal opinions, love life issues, family strife and all. I just bet you can do some serious justice to the controversial issues that concern us on a global scale.
What keeps you from actually trying something new here? Are you worried that no one will understand?

I think you have great ideas, and it would be nice to see more controversial posts. I guess for me it is more fun to write about things and respond to things that won't create controversy. And things that I enjoy. Not to say I'm not interested in things going on in the world; however it is more fun for me to write about things I enjoy doing or write about shows I watch or something like that. I also think a lot of people are afraid of getting criticized for their opinion.

That's a great tip, I have looked at a few newsy items to get some inspiration, although I usually don't have many problems thinking up my own. I didn't think of actually looking at news sources from other countries, so thanks for that, I'm sure I will try it the next time I get writers block!
