well my dog is my best friend so cant a dog be a girls best friend too.

i think that dog is the best friend of man because it is loyal to its owner and it can sacrifice life for him. friends r the one who can be with u in the crisis and dog can do this. dogs are very faithful and cannot betray for any reasons what may come and this is not true with other friends. so i think that they r the best friends although they cannot support u mentally neither can share their feelings with u. but then also they r the one whom u can rely upon.

If you take proper care of your dog I believe it has all the chances of becoming a good friend to you, otherwise he might just be your worse nightmare as well. Dogs are faithful if you keep a close relationship to them and give them the care and attention they need.
