pregnant with coil fitted

does anyone know if you can get pregnant whilst u have a mirena coil fitted? I know its 98% effective but am having symptoms very similar to pregnancy. I have had the coil for just under a year now.

Thank goodness! Someone is having the same symptoms as I am! I too have had the Mirena coil for just under a year, and at least 4 times have had 'phantom pregnancy' symptoms! I've done so many pregnancy tests it's unbelievable, though they were all negative. I thought it was just me that went through this with the coil!
