Teaching our Children the Value of A Dollar email this discussion to a friend?

goldann (9)3 years ago

My husband and I are looking for different ideas and techniques to teach our children the value of a dollar and the importance of saving money. I remember my parents system. Daddy gave us $2 each (there was two of us) every evening if our rooms were clean and we had helped Mama out around the house - with supper or laundry or whatever. We had $1 to put in our "Spending Jar" and $1 to put in our "Savings Jar". Please share with us some of you're ideas and experiences. Thanks!
