Culture, festivals, culture...What is your culture in your place?

In our place we usually have restivals and piesta as our culture. Festivals was held from the different places in different seasons like for example, i am living here at Bacolod City, Negos Occidental, Philippines and the gestival that was held here was Maskara Festival. How about at your Place?

in india there are lot's of festival we celebrate.they are of different religion.in every month we were celebrate atleat 3-4 festival,for example in janury 1st its new year ,14 th its makar sankranti, 26 th jan republic day in all over india.

I see, so therefore because mainly of many religions in your place, as a result, there is also many festivals and fiestas in your place. So thats it, i see. Thanks for that information.

We have plenty of festivals around here that I do not know off because I don't participate in them. We also have a State Fair which I love to go to every year.

I see. Now, why is it that you didn't join in the festivals in your place? what is your reason? And then, what is the purposes of the festival in your place? can you give me an example?
