"Dreamgirls" got 8 Oscar nominations and not one for Best Picture!

But not the best nominations: no best film, no best actor and actress (except non protagonist), no best director

If you can ever figure out which movies will get nominations, and then win, you can make a lot more money than on Mylot! There's a long list of Oscar decisions that don't make sense... How has Martin Scorsese never won best director, etc. etc. I can only think that maybe they thought there were 5 other movies that were stronger for best picture than Dreamgirls... I can see it getting several acting nominations because I hear Eddie Murphy, etc. were very good. I haven't seen most of the movies nominated this year, so I probably shouldn't comment at all...

I know! I was pretty sure they had all lost their minds several years back when they awarded the Best Picture Oscar to Shakespeare In Love over Saving Private Ryan! I mean, honestly!!!

To be frank I didn't like the movie Dreamgirls a bit, I found the movie quiet boring even though there were Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy ....
