is coffee really addictive?

Well it is not exactly the coffee that is addictive but the cafien in it. We all know that coffee contains cafein and thta experts says that cafein is addictive. greetings. : )

For me it is addictive. Why would Starbucks, Figaro and some other coffe shops populate if not for coffeeholic people. Specially in some cold places or night shift work environment like call centers people will really crave for a coffee

Yes, for me coffee is addictive.If I don't have my coffee in the morning when I wake up I really feel ill.It gives me instant boost of energy.

I think anything that you love alot ou can get adicted to. I usually drink about 4 or 5 cups a day. I feel addicted to it. Yet I tryed going a whole weekend just drinking decaff and did not get any headaches or any side affects.

yeap, coffee is addictive... especially when you need to drink it..=) when you're stressed and all that, it's so good to have like 3 cups of coffee...=) hehehe, at least that's what i do.

yes I do think cofee is addictive.I have heard that it stimulates the central nervous system thus making a person unnaturally fresh.This tends to subdue your body's natural instincts and prevent it from relaxing.So if you limit your coffee intake I think it will be good for u.

I think coffee doesn't addict because you can stop to drink I think you like coffee's taste so you can't stop to have it

sure its addictive...well the caffeine in coffee is addictive. i know that many many ppl just catch "get up and go" in the morning without a cup of coffee. its a true lethargy they experience...their body depends on the caffiene as a stimulant. and boy to the coffee shops cash in on that!!!
