I'm a student nurse right now and can't wait to finish but I still have 9 semesters to go and it feels like forever. What about you?

I was born with a cleft lip and palate. I have had more than my fair share of being hospitalized and having surgery on it. Everything in the medical field fascinates me to no end. Half of the stuff they cover in my classes, I already knew; either from being in the hospital so much, or reading up on "medical" things that I found interesting. I will be graduating in October of 2009 with a 4.0 GPA and I can not wait! I am currently laid off from my dental assistant job, because of the economy, but I was not going to stay there forever, anyway, so it is "all good," as they say. I can focus on my studies and take more classes, and graduate sooner. When I first started college, I kept hearing people tell me that "Those couple of years will go by so fast, and it will be over before you know it." They were right - except for now. Now that I only have until October, time seems to be standing still! lol

I just graduated but I still have to go through an exam before I could have my license. Don't ever be discouraged, just have fun while you're still studying nursing because a few weeks after you graduate, you sure are gonna miss it. ;)
