I play this with my husband all the time. Choose two acts that are very similar and opine who's better and why. Here are a few for you to comment on:
Who's better:
Billy Joel, or Elton John?
Carly Simon, or Carole King?
Pearl Jam, or Stone Temple Pilots?
Donna Summer, or Gloria Gaynor?
Bozz Scaggs, or John Mayall?
Foreigner, or REO?
Kansas, or Styx?
Daniel Powter, or James Blunt?
Aguilera, or Spears?
Evanescence, or that other group that sounds just like them?
Paul Simon, or James Taylor?
The Who, or Zeppelin?
even, Phil Collins, or Peter Gabriel?
See how it works? See how old I am?? Of course, for many, it's a matter of choosing the lesser evil.

That's kind of not what I meant. You're supposed to compare two similar artists and say which is better and why.
Like: I think Billy Joel is better than Elton John b/c although both can sing and play well, Joel writes his own lyrics. Something like that.
