there are many songs, which contained political messages, that were commercialized or remaked by popular singers. currently playing on the air waves is TATSULOK by bamboo, originally done by duo member of BUKLOD.

Oh yes, Hope you heard of Bob Marley's reggaue music. He sung revolutionery songs with his own exclusive reggae music. See his lyrics " Get up, Stand up, Stand up for your right, Get up, stand up, Dont give up the fight."
