I was waiting tables for 4 months.. I can say that I didn't really enjoy the job.. What made me stay for 4 months was the people...sometimes, I met great customers that really made my day...though some other times, I'd meet a bunch of jerks.. But the most important people within those 4 months were the other waitresses that I worked with.. I met awesome friends..friends forever even though I'm thousands of miles away from them.. What about you?

I think this really depends on your working environment and your boss. Waiting tables is a great way to meet all kinds of people and expand your horizons, but of course, one is bound to bump into some unfriendly people along the way.

That's true.. People you're working for and people you're working with are definitely huge factors for you to like or to hate the job.. =) Thanks for your response, timou87! =)

I have always returned to waitressing jobs. Like you said you can meet some wonderful people. I love the job. It's something I would always go back to.

I know... It really is the people.. And it is great to get some handy cash right away, too.. I mean, with other jobs you need to wait for your paycheck which comes every two weeks or sometimes every month.. By waitressing, you get cash everyday, which is awesome!! Easy money, I should say.. =) Thanks for sharing, mummyofthree! =)
