Acupuncture: Does it really feel good to be turned into a human pincushion? =D

Does acupuncture really work like what they say on TV? It looks awfully painful to me. Have you tried it? If not, will you?

Actually, not all acupuncture techniques require needles. There are "pressure" points known by ancient chinese medicines that are located on the hands and feets that they often use for acupuncture.

My cousin, a teenager, currently takes acupuncture treatments. She says they put numbing gel on the needles and then when they lightly place them upon you, you just feel a little tingle. If it hurt badly, she'd tell me. I'm considering getting acupuncture help as well. I'm not afraid of pain, I've experienced way too much to be scared. Really, the deciding factor will be money. I can't afford it now, and my insurance does not pay for it.

Yeah. Acupuncture is quite expensive especially here in the Philippines. I just hope it acupuncture sessions become cheaper so I could try it out.. =/
