| card captor sakura  | | | |  at the start of the series, sakura is ten years old and living in a fictional town called tomoeda in japan. on the afternonn after her firstday of fourth grade at tomoeda elementary school(Reedington elementary school in cardcaptors), sakura hears a mysterious sound coming from her father's library in the basement. she nervously armed with her cheerleading baton, goes downstairs and finds a mysterious book name THE CLOW. she opens the book to find the clow cards, a set of 52 cards that contains powerful magic. picking up the top card. sakura reads its name aloud, "WINDY". this activates the card summoning a large wind that blows the remainning cards out of the house and into the distance. the guardian of the cards, keroberos then merges from the book and recruits sakura to become the cardcaptor to retrive the cards.in return she gains the right to use the cards power herselft. it is later revealed that keroberos also refers to sakura as his appointed candidate as he also searching for a new master of the clow cards

| |  I used to watch this on TV when time forbids! It is really nice and amusing. Too bad my work schedule got hectic, I rarely turn on the TV. But, there is the Internet. I downloaded the whole series, and I can watch them during lunchbreak. Technology is nice, isn't it? :)

| |  I love CCS too.. Sakura is very nice and cute.. n' i like Tomoyo's hair. hehe.. the story is simple so everyone in any age can watch it ^-^
The TV series is better than the comic. In the comic, it's only some of the cards, because it's only 12 books. And many stories in TV series don't exist in comics.. >"<

| |  Wow, I love Card Captor Sakura, it's a brilliant anime series, and it's great for all ages!
I hated that crappy dub that they aired in America, and England -- imagine Sakura and Syaoran /not/ ending up together!
Mind you, I didn't mind them cutting out the Yuki/Touya thing (not because I have /anything/ against homosexual relationships, I just think Meilin/Touya make a /much/ better couple.
