Druids,Shamans,Paladins and Priests  

Have the classes been tweaked *again*? I'm still using old school original AD&D stats for my groups, so I'm not up on the latest class adjustments. The system tweaking was getting too much to for me and I didn't agree with a lot of the adjustments.

Though I think druids have always been better in the healing category just because of their class. Holy magic vs earth magic, you're going to get better healing stats off of earth magic.

In 3.5 ed the strongest healers are still the clerics. I'm currently using a cleric. But there 3 kinds of clerics, combat, healer, summoner.

pallys are good healer because thay have a lay on hands + heal spells
but i dont think it matters cause im responding to a dead 4 month old discussion! give me money!

Compared to the Warrior, the Paladin has very few deadly attack at higher levels. To compensate for the lack of offensive capabilities, the Paladin is armed with a huge range of buffs, each ideal for different situation and party members. He also has aura's, that allow him to boost the performance of a party immensely. These combined with his ability to heal and resurrect, make the Paladin very popular in parties like healer.
The Shaman is a fighter mage that excells at usig his spells to make himself a formidable warrior. He can reduce the damage he takes or increase the damage he deals. He has the largest array of instant direct damage spells, that help boost his damage output. Together with the ability to heal, make the shaman a well rounded character that's most welcome in parties like tanker DPS or healer.
The Druid's primarily strength lies in the ability to morph into various animals. By converting in himself into a bear, a Druid becomes an effective warrior, by converting himself into a cat, he gains the skills of a rouge. For this reason and for the spell Rejuvenation and Regrowth, Druid is very popular in parties like healer.
The Priest is a supporting caster, adept at boosting his allies to superhuman proportions. Her wide arsenal of buffs and healing spells reduce the downtime of a party, and enhancesthei skillsso that they are the equivalent to warriors several level higher. The spell system of a priest works principally to heal herself while he may not deal a huge amount of damage. For this reason in classified like a DPS class.
