My Space Users, Answer me this

I would like to use it to promote Mylot, but I haven't yet done so. Why I joined, well, at first I joined simply because there were some photos and videos on there that one could not look at without having an account and being logged in. I had never planned to update my profile or really use it. But then I found some people on there that i really wanted to reconnect with who I had not spoken to or heard much about in a few years. So I decided to work on my profile and add these people as friends. I still don't use Myspace for much, but I really value the people that I am connected to on there! ^_^

Why do I use Myspace? It is a great way to stay in touch with friends, maybe make some new ones, and you can promote stuff on there that helps you in many ways. I also see it as a great place to listen to new bands that are just getting started. I am a massive music lover and I learn of many new and good bands that are trying to get their names out there.

Have you noticed the music section, or had friend requests, from bands? If I remember correctly, Myspace was originally started to help some local bands promote their stuff. With Myspace, anyone can promote their music, art, and even indy film makers. Myspace is truly a gift to the "little man."

I originally signed up for MySpace because my teenage son told me about it and urged me to make a page. It was a way for me to stay involved in his online life and have some control over how he handled himself on that site. I started researching and learned how to fix my page up and all that fun stuff so then he started wanting me to fix his page for him. He doesn't have alot of time to play on there now so I just keep tabs on who has left him messages and relay it back to him. I use it now to keep in touch with friends mostly. I've reconnected with alot of old high school friends and have stayed in touch with current friends which helps because we all have such busy lives its hard to stay up to date if we didn't have a place like MySpace to do so. I've started up a new page to start promoting some of my favorite sites but I haven't finished it yet. We moved from my son's childhood home when he was in the middle of 5th grade. It was a hard move because he had all his friends in the old city that we left. He lost touch with them over the years but with MySpace he was able to reconnect with twin sisters that he was really close to when he was little. The summer before his 9th grade year he had a beach bonfire and took a bunch of kids with us - we also picked up the twin girls to join us and it was as if they had never lost touch, it was pretty awesome to see. I was so happy for him and they have continued to stay in touch via MySpace over the past 2 years.

I use it because I think it is a great way to keep in touch with old friends. You can send messages back and forth to see how they are doing and what not. I only add people that I know though, I dont try to make cyber friends off of it.

I use it mainly just to check out the artists that i like and their songs/videos. I don't really chat to people much on there, maybe message the odd old school friend every week or so.

I'm on there but I rarely go there, it's nice to blog about any old thing is all but I never have time. If I could have a sililar set up and pretty screen etc her I would never have tried it, But I keep coming back to mylort choose where else I visit, it's cosy here

its a nice way to met people all over the world, i even met my cousin whom i haven't seen in real life, we don't know that we're cousins until we got into talking about our family then we found out later that our grandparents are brother and sister.

well, I use it because I have a lot of family on there that I regularly wouldnt be able to communicate with but can now thru myspace of my 47 friends, 15 of them are family...Also friends that have moved away, Also, some of them are from mylot, that I met. It is a good way to keep in touch with friends. And meet new people ifyou so desire.
