Tax season take your credit. Don't forget about this credit

They have just issued a credit from the IRS on land lines because we have all been paying a Federal excise tax. Guess what the goverment is giving it back to us. Finally something for us. It's only $60 but hey it's something. The amount needs to be entered into line 71 of your 1040 form. File differently look it up at www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=161506,00.html it will explain it all and how to get it.

Very cool! I had no idea the IRS were giving credit for this. Every little bit helps.

I claimed it last year on my taxes. I haven't had a home phone in many years, but TurboTax still let me keep it and let me deduct it.
One of the reasons I love TurboTax.
