my husband suffered through 3 tough kidney stones-the first 2 he had to have surgery, and it was horrible. they had to leave a stint in for 3 weeks, and then redo it because the other one never came out. so for a time being he was fine,,,and then it hit him again...so he was in so much pain, but not willing to go to the doctor for fear of what happened before. So i went on the internet to look for natural cures. I had to purchase a booklet with natural remedies. this one was for sure a great one! you take a 6 pack of regular classic coke. a bundle of asparagas. you cook the asparagas til tender, then puree it in a blender. green goo is what it looks like. He drank all of it, then followed with the whole 6 pack of coke. (it took a couple of hours to do this),,, then about a day went by, (he was still in pain), and it flushed out. they say it could be up to 3 days before it works. the reason is this works, its the asparagus that works as the diuretic, and the coke has so much acid that it disolves the stone. I was so happy for him.. it was a huge stone.. and the other 2 had to be blasted to pass. so if you have trouble-try it...

This is so awesome! Thanks for posting it. I have had a lot of patients with kidney stones who feel the same way as your husband did. There is no way they would go back to the doctor for that torture unless they were dragged there. Although I can't legally "prescribe" this, I can discuss it with people and they can research it and make their own decisions. Of course I would still have to recommend following up with the urologist to be sure that the stones are completely gone and that there is no obstruction or damage to the kidney. Another point to remember is that there are some stones which may not be dissolved in an acidic environment, so if this the case the symptoms may actually get worse. I definitely believe there is a place for natural remedies, though, and this was great to read!

yes, my husband still had strainers left from his last 2 horror episodes, so he collected the stone particles and took them in, and they did a kidney xray, and it was all gone! his doctor was totally amazed. they were made mostly of calcium deposits, and typically they were the hardest to blast. so my husband is living without fear so far!!!

Aggggggh! I hope I never have to try this remedy. If Coke can dissolve kidney stones, just think what it's doing to the rest of your inides! Maybe that's where the asparagus comes in, lol.
