Booting & MS-DOS(Microsoft Operating System)

MS-DOS is a disk operating system.It is a kind of a system software which is used to
create the working environment in a computer.This program was developed by
Microsoft Corporation,USA.
Booting:
Loading the system file of MS-DOS programme into main memory (RAM) is called booting.
System file:
IO.sys, ms-dos.sys & command.com etc.are system files.
Booting Process:
(1) Cold boot: It is done by pressing Power Switch.
(2) Warm boot:It is done by pressing re-set switch.
or
press Ctrl+Alt+Del keys from keyboard.
