Was anyone else disappointed with how short they cut the extended scene? I didn't realize how little they really gave us until I logged into Scifi.com and watched the whole three minutes.
Do you really think she'll betray Gaius, and if so, do you think it's because she's jealous of his closeness to D'Anna before she was shut down?

I'm glad you mentioned the extended scene was on the website, I just went to watch it. Makes you wonder what else gets cut that we never get to see.
Anyway, I don't think she will betray him exactly, she won't be able to bear it if he is killed and then "chip-Baltar" will come back and be far more annoying to her than "real-Giaus" ever was. I think she is either going to make it look like she completely manipulated him (whch she did, he just made it easy for her) or she is buying time to figure out another way to save them both.

I sort of hope she doesn't betray him. He's a far more sympathetic character than the original Baltar, and while he is annoying, I can see both sides of the story with him. My husband keeps calling me a Cylon sympathizer, but I think it's just that I can see both sides.

I'm wondering how she could make him appear innocent without having to confess that she was the cylon that really made the nuclear attacks possible in the first place. In that extended scene, she tells Laura that they call her "Caprica" which the President is bound to put two-and-two together eventually. Six must know the humans would certainly kill her if they found out (and they would make sure there was no resurrection ship nearby).
As one of the characters said (Gaetia, I think) "Baltar has a knack for self-preservation" I wonder if HE will rat out Caprica Six in order to save himself?

You could be right about Gaius and his self-preservation, but after Gaeta's reaction and his attempt to kill Baltar before Baltar could talk, I'm questioning Gaeta's motives more than Baltars at this point. I would like to see both Caprica and Baltar escape, but at this point it's going to take a miracle.
