Sidney Sheldon 2/11/1917-01/30/2007 I'm sure almost all of you have seen his work. If you haven't read one of his novels, ranging from "The Other Side of Midnight" to "Windmills of the Gods", you have at least heard of his work in movies and television. He wrote "The Bachelor and the Bobby-soxer" with Shirley Temple and Cary Grant, and also created "I Dream of Jeannie" and "Hart to Hart" for T.V. I for one will miss his work.

A tremendous loss to the writing community. He was an extremely talented man. I have enjoyed his books for many, many years. The shows that he created for television such as "I Dream of Jeanie" that was one of my favorite shows and when ever I get a chance to see reruns I always watch. Good luck to you here at mylot!

I read it the newspapers yesterday. What a great loss in the reading world. He sure looks so fresha nd young even at 89. I am going to miss his books too. At one time I wanted to meet the man so badly. Infact when I read his first book, the other side of midnight(my first book of his) I thought he was a women, I was amzed that a man can write about a women so well. All the women in his novels were talent and capable and successful but retained their feminity. He will be missed greatly, I am sure by all his readers and his critics too.
