who is confucius?

Who is confucius? (551-479 bc) author of the saying as the golden rules " Do not do to others, what you do not wish other to do to you. He came from a noble family but his parents were poor, he was a good and obedient son, grew up to be quiet, thoughtful and studius, and he was a teacher, its his one way of reaching out to those who like to live a better life. I am a Chinese and I know something about Confucius. He was one of the greatest person in Chinese history. He was very great as a educator, thinker as well as politician. He also had many great sayings. They are very inspiring and thought provoking.
