It is better to be late than do nothing about it. You can seat there and cry and do nothing or do something to change your lives. goodluck.

| | | 2. nutmeggy13 (7) | 3 years ago |  I am an adult adoptee. I feel for you. My own birthday is sad for me because I was given up on that day. I have feelings of grief for my missing relationship. That being said, I was given a precious family who adored me and took wonderful care of me. Your son is no doubt being well cared for, and you were very brave to make such a difficult choice. You will always be a part of him. Do something every year on his birthday that is postive and in honor of him and the life you gave him. Plant a tree, volunteer, let a balloon go, whatever makes you feel that you loved him in the best way you knew how.
