Without the blues, jazz and r&b,might not exist.and likewise, without jazz, rock "n" roll might not have developed.these four styles of music have more in commoon than you might think.how do you know about them?

i think blues is where it all started. rock and roll is an evolution of the blues where the tempo is quickened and distortions are added. jazz is also another evolution of blues and rock, only this time the beats and notes are played in a complicated way. i'm not sure w/ r&b though. it's just my opinion based on what i have been obesrving since our band plays blues, rock and roll and jazz

Yes I do know about them, I've been studying, listening too & playing for many years. & I'm happy to say that I'm pleased it is still popular, because I despair at some of the modern music.

They all have been played and in some way developped by Miles Davis and his troupe
