clashed into two groups. ;(

we are in one class. but the time our professor told us we have to group ourselves into two group because we are going to have a group activity, the groupings become not equally the sme. IT sees that our group became against to the other group and there are lots od issues occured. I really don't know wher to stand because the other group became my classmates before and the group I belong comes from different group and united as one as against to them. I really dont know how to end this conflict between our class. Do you have any suggestion
