hyper yapping puggle  

I hadn't thought of the laser pointer. I play with the cat with it all the time. Nope, don't think he is going to grow out of it unfortunately. He is 3 and fixed. I am thinking this is just how he is going to be. He really is a sweetheart though. He has always been hyper. I actually came home one day and found him on top of the entertainment center. Yep, you read it right. On top of a 5 foot tall entertainment center. He had chased the cat and she ran up the stairs, and jumped through the spindles onto the top, and he just followed her and wasn't sure how to get down. That is one point in my life where I can honestly say I just stood there and wasn't sure if I was gonna laugh or cry.

Now I can laugh. That day not so much! He tends to be right in the center of any crazieness going on, that is for sure. lol.

First of all I never said I wasn't willing to do something with dog. We take him out all of the time, and run with him for most of it. We play ball both in the house and out, and spend lots of time with him, not to mention the fact that there are 2 other dogs and a cat he spends a lot of time playing with and tormenting. One of these dogs is a St Bernard that is just over a year old, and the two of them spend the greater part of their day chasing one another around. It isn't an issue of neglect or ignoring the dog. It was the same before the baby, the major difference is now he isn't allowed upstairs because that is a completely "baby friendly" zone, and I want to keep it that way. He has always been this hyper, from day one. Not to go off on a rant or anything, I just wish to make it known that I don't make a habit of having pets that I don't take care of, or meet the needs of.
