What Is The Best Movie Version of The King Arthur Tale? | | | | There are so many to choose from but I am going to have to go with the 2004 release, especially the directors cut. The DVD has a lot of background information as well as The Round Table Discussion about how certain scenes were shot and the cast and crew. All of the actors worked well together and that really came through in their performance. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | I don't know about the 2004 version; I've only seen three Arthurian-themed films, and each differs in content, mood, and even target audience that it's hard to say one is better than the others. First off, we have Walt Disney's version of the Sword and the Stone, which is just a tiny portion of the Arthur legend. Then we have the film version of Lerner and Lowe's Camelot, which is a very sanitized version of the whole story of Arthur, Gueneviere, the knights of the Round Table, Mordred, and Lancelot. Finally, we have Excalibur, which delves into the entire dark legend, full of sex and violence. | | | | | | | freak369 (3473)

| | You need to check out the 2004 version, lots of great fight scenes and they show how they actually built a replica of Hadriens (spelling) Wall and the castle / fort they are protecting. | | | | groomtobe23 (427)

| | If you like Keira Knightley at all, you should give 2004's version a chance. I really liked it, and it showed a different side of the actress you don't quite get from some of her other films. | | | | | | | Excalibur Tool Grinders Machines specialized in grinding carbide, HSS and stainless steel. www.excalibur-tool.com | add comment | | | |

| | I LOVE Clive Owen, and really found the 2004 version of Arthur much more interesting than I had envisioned. It was a little on the dark side of things, but I think it told a good story, and presented the characters more like I thought they should be; without all of the unneeded glitz. | | | | | | | freak369 (3473)

| | I like the banter and the kinship that they all have; like when Boars is all huffy about having to do one last job... "Of course i'm going, you'll get yourself killed" ... then he mutters about his wife killing him for leaving again. | | | | | | | Local Businesses Find Buisnesses with Local Search! www.local.com | add comment | | | |
