Church Reformation- God's eternal purpose

How can one explain events happening across the world with reference to what God has planned for the church? I see a greater deterioration of foundations built by man in our religious society and a drift towards that which is God-made, Spirit led. There is a deeper yearning for the truth and for knowledge that truly liberates and our rigid religious structures have not provided lasting solutions fot he hunger and thirst in people's lives. The answer is a more reformed church that is open to God's direction and guidance and that is our to build according to God's pattern and not man's wisdom. What are your comments on this?
