Sweet 16 for a boy?  

My husband and I were talking about sweet 16 birthday party for our girls and what we should do. We went back and forth for awhile. No decisions were made and that frustrated me but he turned to me and said what are we doing for the boys and I looked at him like he had three heads. I always thought boys invited friends over and hung out. Do boys have actual parties. I was just going to let him invite friends give him some money and let them all do what they wanted. Should I be planning a party for him? Has anybody heard of a boy having a sweet 16?
