Deep down, aren't we all atheists??

Think about it. If you, (a Christian for instance), were watching the news and saw a story about a man who (let's say...) goes to the pet store and buys up every animal in sight, and claims that God told him to do it......Would you think he was a whacko, or a legitimate Christian? Or.... If the real Jesus came to your front door, would you think he's a whacko and slam the door in his face? Or would you believe him and invite him in? My point is.....we may not all be completely atheist. But deep down, we are all skeptics. I think that some Christians, deep down, don't really believe in God or any of the stories...they just go to church to be "on the safe side". what do you say??
