Do you rate one-line responses negatively in discussions? I am not quite sure if I am supposed to rate the response negatively if I feel it didn't add to the discussion, or if I don't agree with it. When a question is asked in a discussion, isn't it expected to be answered and supported? I have been choosy in my participation of discussions, and try to always support my opinion, as everyone should or could. SO why would you negatively rate a response to a discussion?

i will give a negative rating if someone posts a response tha either:
1. says "yeah" or something like that, or
2. that has absolutely nothing to do with my question
Most people that do this are just going into every discussion and putting a one-liner in to try to get more money...but the guidelines say this is NOT going to make them any money..
So yes, they need a negative rating because they did not follow the discussion

Thanks for the clarification. I was worried maybe I was causing undue stress to folks in some way. I hate it when they only respond by a simple sentence. :-)
