I have lived in Florida for a long time. I like the warm weather.
But with all the disasters we have to face all through the year, year after year I am seriously thinking I need to move to a safer place.
I lost almost everything I owned when we got struck with 3 hurricanes
one right after the other back in '04, '05. Now we have just been through 7 devastating tornadoes that has killed over 40 people and still counting.
Is there a safe place in the USA or must we learn to live with these disasters?

I live in Florida and always have. Like a previous post stated, there is trouble everywhere. You can leave Florida and it's Hurricanes but where ever you move you will be subject to natural disasters. You have to take the good with the bad and remember that both the good and the bad happen to all people all over the world.

My sister lives there too and I dont know how she can stand that. I dont think it is a very safe place to live and I wish she would come back home where it is much safer. I live in NJ and its much more safer then where you are.

A disaster can happen anywhere. It can be in the form of a flood, storm, hurricane, heat wave, cold front... No place is immune to a disaster.
