Tracking down Terrorists
It always amazes me that the American Military cannot track down the “source” of Car bombers. Since the nineteen eighties we have been told that the spy cameras on military satellites in space can look over your shoulder and read your newspaper. One would think that if this is correct they could simply aim a number of cameras down on Iraq from space. Connect the output of the cameras to video recorders and wait for the next car bomb to go off. Then by backing up the video recording they could follow the car bomb back to its source. I realise this appears to be shutting the gate after the horse has bolted but it might help locate the people “responsible” for dispatching the car bomber to his target. To cover the whole area they would need a vast array of cameras forming a hexagonal cell like picture display to enable the back tracking of the vehicle from one picture to the next.
