| Does magnetic therapy really work?  | | | |  At one time, I suffered from severe balance problems as a result of an inner ear infection. Months went by and nothing seemed to work until a friend suggested magnetic necklaces as a possible solution. Of course I was skeptical, but decided to give it a try. To my amazement, within a few days, my balance had improved considerably. So much that I even began to sell magnetic jewelry on ebay. Some people claim wonderful results after using the jewelry and others seem not to notice any difference. My doctor says it is all in my imagination, but who am I to argue with results. What do you think?

| |  Hello stringbean! I don't know about magnets effects on balance problems but I can tell you that it transcranial magnetic therapy is receivng a lot of attention in psychiatry! It has had promising results for depression. It is basically a treatment where magnets are used around the head. Here is a link to various resources about its use! I find it fascinating! And back to the balance, if YOU think it helped, that is all that matters! You have to live with your pain/problems, no one else! BEst of luck!
