i am hoping that someone anyone could give me some advice or ideas on which shamppo would be best for my hair. I have colored it numerous times but not in the last 8 months or so. i have very dry hair. It takes me at least a half hour to brush throught the tangles once i get out of the shower! i have spent money on the most exspenive name brands that i can find for dry/damaged hair. It would seem like it was working for the first day or so and then the same problem would occur. I have boughten leave in conditioners, detanglers, hot oil treatments, mositurizers. Nothing seems to work the end results are always the same dry hair and then sometimes dandruff do to all the different types of shamppos i have used. Does anyone have a favorite shamppo that would help this problem, or any suggestions on what i can do to bring my soft undry hair back? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

dont use green shampoo is what i was told as it contains alcohol. most of them that i have read over do have it in there. i use vo5 hot oil treatment on my hair and I try not to use colors on it anymore as i am getting old and my hair is becomming brittle like my mothers. and I dont use a lot of hair spray, i dont blow dry my hair. :) best of luck

I have very dry course hair. I use John Frieda shampoo followed by conditioner which I leave in for a minute before rinsing out. I then find that I can easily comb my hair with a wide toothed comb (I never brush it). I then use the John Frieda serum on it and leave it to dry naturally. In between washes I neve brush or comb it - just style it with John Freida cream.

I find the more that I touch my hair the worse it gets. It seems to be better if I tie it up in bed. It is also better if I wash it more often - it seems to dry out if it doesn't get conditioned a lot.

Thank you for giving me best response.

I am from the UK and can get the shampoos from supermarkets and chemists. I have seen them for sale on eBay. It may be worth you contactig the company to see if they have a stockists near you. Their website should have details too : http://www.johnfrieda.co.uk/
