25th anniversary celebration  

How nice you and your sister want to throw a party for your parents!Need more info for best ideas. What is their favorite restaurant?? Is it in a price range where you could get a room for a party??Do they have another close married couple they are friends with?, if so maybe you could have it at their house, so it is a suprise .Start snooping around the house for photos of when they were dating, newly married and of course a wedding pic., to start a scrape book, and have their friends write about, "I knew them back when",have the book on display at the party, and your parents have something wonderful to keep forever, I've been married 26 years, wish my 2 daughters had done something like that.

When I made my paents 25 wedding Aniversary, I made it in our basement, another idea is to try and rent out a hall or night club or pub.

I am old enough to be your mother lol! We renewed our vows. My wedding dress was a bit snug but not bad after 5 kids huh?

We are country folk so ours was a western theme. We rode off into the sunset at the end of the service. Then on to bbq, barn dance and hayrides. We had fun.

My husband and I are celebrating our 25th this year. I want to go on a cruise. Never been on one. We thought about a party but both kids are busy in college, so, no time for planning a party. I wouldn't have your party be a surprise. I think your mom will want to tell you who to invite. I would say a party at a relatives or close friends house would be nice. Have guests bring pics and stand up and tell a memory of the couple from the past!
